Thank you!

Happy New Year!  Okay, I’m a little late on that, but it still counts!

I wanted to send out a thank you to all of you. I feel so fortunate to have so many supportive people in my life.

This was especially apparent during my brief but fun market “season”. You listened to my ramblings about stock and all things market related (in person and/or online), witnessed the disaster scene as I prepped, and came out to the markets to shop, visit, supply me with drinks and man the table for breaks.

There will be more later on markets that are upcoming, but for now, thank you!!

December Markets

I can hardly believe it’s already December… time is just zipping by!

I wanted to put out a quick post to let people know that I’ll be participating in two Christmas markets at the Victoria Public Market (#6 1701 Douglas Street). The first will be on Monday the 4th, the second on Monday the 18th. I’ll be there from 10:00 – 4:00 for sure, but will probably stay until the 6:00 closing time.

I’ll have a mix of 2D (framed and unframed images) and 3D needle felting (pears and penguins), as well as some sterling silver and copper jewellery.

I’d love to see you there!

Penguin Update

All the world loves a penguin… or at least 10 people do.  The first penguin needle felting workshop is full, and last I heard there were only two places left in the newly scheduled November 25th workshop. Contact the Beehive if one of those spots is meant for you!

Santa Penguin

This morning I took a picture of my newest felted item for the upcoming workshop at the Beehive Wool Shop.

Christmas penguin

This little Christmas penguin has had the song Santa Baby going through my head all day, replacing “baby” with “penguin”.  Needless to say, it’s been a long day!

The upcoming workshop is on November 18th, from 10:30-12:30am. Contact or drop by the Beehive to register!

So much fibre!

The Island Knits Fibre Market is over, and I’d say it was a great success!  The Victoria Public Market was packed all day, and hopefully all the vendors made oodles of sales!

I had a lot of fun meeting and chatting with people – there are so many creative and interesting people in this city.

Here are a few blurry and busy pictures of my booth.

Thanks you to everyone for all your support leading up to this event – it was much appreciated!  😘

A whole lotta needle felting!
